Excitedly they told Thomas,
"We have seen Him, He's alive!"
They had seen Him for themselves
And their faith had been revived.
They had seen the risen Lord;
They could not deny Him now.
They had touched His nail-scarred palms
And the thorn marks on His brow.
But the faith of Thomas waned
Until he too had seen.
Then he saw Jesus there that day
And then he too believed.
Jesus said that we'd be blessed
If to know Him we would strive;
And shout to others excitedly,
"Our Savior is alive!"
