Regular Joe

He's a regular man, just a regular Joe,
He's got a regular face, he wears regular clothes.
He's got regular plans and regular dreams,
He's a regular man in all ways, it seems.
But God sees his heart and He understands
When it comes to Joe's faith, he's no regular man.
For he's a spiritual giant in the eyes of the Lord;
Standing firm in his faith, in an ungodly world.
In the eyes of the world, he's just a regular guy;
But he's a regular hero in his spiritual life.

For the Lord does not see as man sees;
for man looks at the outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart.
