Out Of The Darkness

The wind blew in blankets
Across a quilted sky;
We huddled in the darkness,
My iniquities and I.

Until the Son brought with Him dawn
And the light that set us free;
He brought us out of darkness,
My iniquities and me.

For You are my lamp, O Lord;
The Lord shall enlighten my darkness.
