She came out of nowhere
With tears in her eyes;
But no one noticed,
The world passed her by.
She wandered through life,
Afraid and alone;
Looking for some place
That she could call home.
She just wanted someone
To show they cared;
And someone to hold her
When she got scared.
She cried many tears,
But they were never enough;
Was it asking too much
To want to be loved?
He came out of nowhere
With love in His eyes;
He called her by name
As she passed by.
He said, "You're my child,
And you're never alone;
I'll hold you close
And point the way home."
They came out of nowhere,
Walking side by side;
The child and her Savior...
Who the world had passed by.
