If I had just one day to live,
How different things would be;
Things that seem important now
Would become trivial to me.
I would want to spend that day,
The last day on earth for me,
Telling others about my Savior
And how to be set free.
But when I think about it more,
I do only have one day;
For God doesn’t guarantee me
That another will come my way.
So I will live the days ahead
As if I had only one;
And talk about my Savior
Until my days on earth are done.

Do you not say, “There are still four
months and then comes the harvest”?
Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes
and look at the fields, for they are
already white for harvest! (John 4:35)
