In the blink of an eye,
He’ll whisk us away;
In a moment of glory,
He’ll turn darkness to day.
The cares of this world
Will suddenly cease;
In the blink of an eye,
His face we will see.
The trumpet will sound
And we’ll all fly away;
Swept into glory
On that wonderful day!

Behold, I tell you a
mystery;
We shall not all sleep,
But we shall all be changed –
in a moment, in the twinkling of
an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, and the
dead will be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
(I Corinthians 15:51-52)
