Dear Lord,

Please bless this child
Who is mourned so deeply.

Give him a special place
In Your Child's kingdom.

Help us not to feel bitter,
But to cling instead to our faith 
In Your Sovereignty in all things...even this.

Bless the parents who gave him life
And loved him so dearly. 

Comfort them with the knowledge 
That he rests safely in Your arms.

Be with all those whose lives he touched
During his brief stay here.

We celebrate his life.
How it touched ours!

He was loved by so many!

We know that, even now, 
You are holding him close.

And we rejoice that, through faith in Your Son,
We will be reunited with him one day. 

Until then, Lord,
Supply us with the daily grace we will need
To accept this in such a way as to bring You glory.

We love him, Lord.
We remember him.
We miss him.
We give him to You.
