You can quit tomorrow,
But don't you quit today;
The race is almost over,
So don't you be dismayed.
Our Father never promised
A smooth and easy way;
The course is long and hard,
But don't you quit the race.
The finish line is near,
It's just beyond that hill;
Just a few more steps now,
Keep going farther still.
Keep running for the goal
To win the prize of faith;
You can quit tomorrow,
But don't you quit today!

But one thing I do: Forgetting what
is behind and straining toward what
is ahead, I press on toward the goal
to win the prize for which God has
called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 3:13-14)
