There comes a time in every life
When the shadow of doubt creeps in;
It's then that we know, though we seldom say so,
That we're nothing but mere mortal men.
We begin to ask if there isn't more
Than just this daily grind;
We want to know our purpose here,
And it burdens the heart and mind.
Some search for answers everywhere,
But there's only one place to go --
To the throne of the One Who reigns on high,
To the Master, who treasures us so.
When there comes a time in your own life
When you know your life isn't your own,
Just go to the cross in humbleness
And you'll discover true peace for your soul.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
