We are children of a faithful God,
Guided by His loving hand;
Children of a loving Father,
On our way to the Promised Land.
Chosen to bear His sweet name,
Heirs to a Heavenly throne;
Saved by His wondrous grace,
Looking forward to a Heavenly home.
Adopted through the blood of His Son,
Heirs to a vast domain;

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our
spirit that we are children of God, and if
children, then heirs -- heirs of God and joint
heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with
Him, that we may also be glorified together.
