Lord, as I face another day,
A gift from You to me,
I pray for grace to serve you well
And do it cheerfully.
I pray that every moment
Will be spent in service to you,
That I will be able to reflect Your love
In all I say and do.
May my words be soft and gentle,
And my thoughts and deeds be kind.
May others see the light of Your love
Shining through this heart of mine.
Lord, I ask that You guide me
Throughout the day ahead,
That I might bring You glory
So others to You might be led.
