I will sing a song for Jesus,
I will sing it with my life.
A song to sing His praises
In good times and midst strife.
He's teaching me the melody
He wrote so long ago;
When He died for me on Calvary,
Because He loves me so.
The words He gives me day by day
To guard my heart from sin.
I listen for them quietly
Then sing them back to Him.
I will sing a song for Jesus,
This song He's teaching me.
